Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026
LinkU ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using LinkU you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
To provide messaging and related services, we may collect: account identifiers (email or phone), device and push tokens, and profile data you choose to share (e.g. display name, avatar). Messages are end-to-end encrypted by default; our servers store ciphertext only and cannot read message plaintext.
How we use information
We use this information to: register and authenticate accounts, deliver and sync messages, enable voice/video calls, send push notifications, secure accounts and devices, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data.
End-to-end encryption
Direct and group chats use end-to-end encryption (E2EE) by default. Encryption keys are generated and stored on your devices; we cannot decrypt your chat content on the server.
Retention and deletion
We retain data needed to operate the service while your account is active. You can delete messages and leave groups in the app. To delete your account or request erasure of personal data, contact us below; we will respond within a reasonable time.
